The slight drop in trip could suit Sumi Girl and she gets our vote ahead of Noisy Silence and Montrachet. There are plenty of familiar faces in the lineup who may bounce back to form, most noticeably Blue Spinnaker who has another win in him at some point, however a more reliable prospect could be one of the younger brigade (who receive a 4lb weight allowance from their older rivals) and it is Sumi Girl who is taken to win. She is proven on any ground and from a good low draw she must be fancied to run a big race. Noisy Silence has shaped with plenty of promise so far but his mark looks a tad high, whilst Jewelled Dagger needs to bounce back from a disappointing effort on the all-weather when last seen. Montrachet let down favourite backers on her last run but wasn't beaten far and she is one who won't mind any further rain. She's Our Lass comes here on the back of a win but this looks tougher, so of more interest may be the useful dual-performer Dancing Lyra. Cool Ebony is capable on his day, comments that also apply to Lucayan Dancer who should like the ground. At a price Goodbye Mr Bond could go well, however it is Sumi Girl who can get her head back in front.
