Gold Filigree has been confined to the all-weather lately but is equally effective on Turf and one for the short-list in this. Another three-year-old, Camacho Chief, is on a hat-trick but we’ll give a final chance to stablemate HOLMESWOOD, who needs luck in-running but was only beaten half-a-length off this mark at Ascot last week and is still 3lb lower than when scoring here last year. Tim Easterby is responsible for a quarter of this big field and last year’s winner East Street Revue may be the pick as he finished ahead of Excessable and also Longroom when second at Ripon last time.
