The market will help in this open maiden however our narrow preference is for Harrison George ahead of Calming Influence and Always Certain. The selection has already proven himself on ground with some give-in when finishing second on heavy ground at Newcastle on his debut. He was only beaten a length in a better race than this at the Curragh last month and he is fancied to get off the mark at the fifth time of asking. Hamish McGonagall let down favourite backers last time out but has shaped with plenty of promise to date although he presumably wouldn't want any more rain. Always Certain showed up for a fair way on his debut and comes from a stable who's juveniles tend to come on significantly. Karl Burke has a pair of newcomers who both need a check in the betting, whilst Calming Influence takes the eye. A 110,000 Euros son of King's Best, the betting will help guide to expectations. Flowing Cape has been there or thereabouts in three runs to date and if he acts on the ground should go well, however Harrison George is the selection.
