Verdict

After three promising runs Mick Channon's Saucy Buck finally opened his account when justifying odds of 1/9 when landing a Hamilton maiden last week and he has every chance of following up that success here but there are three runners in the field who won on their only start so far and BAHCELI looks worth backing to maintain his unbeaten record with the main danger rated as Cocktail Charlie. Tim Easterby's colt stayed on well when beating Meandmyshadow in a Ripon maiden last month and the yard's runners continue in good from so he has to be considered with plenty of improvement to come. Richard Fahey can do little wrong with his runners this term and his representative, Majestic Myles, was good value for his debut success at Musselburgh last month so has to be considered. Misty Morn showed improved form from his debut outing when a narrow winner at Redcar last time but he needs to improve again on that showing to get the better of Richard Hannon's Bahceli, who was good value for his win at Pontefract last month and he looks the one to beat.
