This track can often suit front-runners so Stolt gets the nod ahead of Blue Tomato, Wibbadune and Total Impact. Noel Wilson's charge hung to his right in the closing stages when second recently at Chester. The gelding is a winner on soft ground and also runs this track well having scored here earlier in the season. Blue Tomato won well last time Hamilton in a fair race; that run was over six furlongs and whilst he has won over a sharpish five before, things may just happen too quick today. Total Impact is very consistent and this son of Pivotal should be considered a threat with a decent apprentice aboard, whilst Wibbadune has been in good form and her record on the turf is exceptional. Bond City could go well at a fair price however it is Stolt who gets the nod.
