Richard Fahey has a very good record in this so his lone entry, the beautifully-bred Constantino, is on the short-list as he makes his handicap debut. But MONTEVERDI (NAP) made a successful debut at Newbury in October and reappeared with a cracking effort behind Aclaim at Newmarket last month where he came from a long way off the pace. That will have brought him on and he can go one better. Castle Harbour looked a very nice prospect when landing a Newmarket maiden last month though, so far, the race hasn't worked out as well as expected. Replenish is stepping up in class after his two Polytrack victories while Chief Whip was easily brushed aside over a mile at Sandown, though dropping back to this trip should prove ideal. Albernathy should have more to offer this campaign though he looks a bit high on what he's achieved to date.
