Oh Grace made an excellent start to her career when runner-up to Hyzenthlay in testing conditions at Navan. Always up with the pace, she made the winner pull out the stops and will have come on plenty for the experience. Three lengths behind her in fourth was CUFF, but there are reasons to believe the positions can be reversed. The daughter of Galileo took an age to realise what was expected but began motoring when the race was over and today's extra furlong is definitely required. Aidan O'Brien also saddles the newcomer Assonance, the second foal of a mare whose first is the useful winner Tones, while David Wachman's Winter is another daughter of Galileo out of a Wokinghan winner. Wayside Flower cost 110,000 euros and is by Shamardal out of a mare who won over a mile as a two-year-old.
