Traditionally a decent maiden and POLAR KITE is fancied to get off the mark at the main expense of King Of The Celts and Water's Dream. Richard Fahey's colt shaped nicely at Haydock on debut (unfancied at 25/1) and then went close at Musselburgh on his next start. Although beaten at even money, the form has been franked and with this quicker surface likely to suit he should run well. Tokum was a distant second to King Torus at Leicester but like the selection his form has been franked and the booking of Christophe Soumillion will raise a few eyebrows. Waiter's Dream improved from first to second runs and has contested two of the better maidens run in June. He should be suited by this front-runner's track and is expected to fare well. Lady Gar Gar should improve over this longer trip with a debut run at Doncaster under her belt, whilst King Of The Celts (finished ahead of the former) looks the pick of the Easterby runners and his trainer likes to target races on the Knavesmire. Perhaps a good chance for Polar Kite to make it third time lucky.
