Verdict
Another tricky heat where My Kingdom will take some stopping in search of a hat-trick and ETON RIFLES can fire. The Howard Johnson-trained pick was runner-up over this trip in Listed company at Redcar last weekend and handles plenty of cut. He has won from a higher mark than this before and looks booked to go very close. My Kingdom won at Goodwood and Chester over this trip last month and a further 6lb rise will make another success challenging. Kaptain Kirkup is 6lb higher than when winning here at the Dante meeting in May and has won on good to soft, though he has a bit to prove after recent runs. Golden Shaheen is 8lb higher than his best win and can go well and of more concern to the selection would be Esprit De Midas, for whom trip and ground are ideal and he has claims if you can forgive his latest effort.
