A wide open contest rounds off the card and many can be given chances on their best form but the principals look to be Dickie Deadeye, Night Sight, Kylkenny and Bramantino and the tentative vote goes to Dickie Deadeye. The selection was a fair fourth behind El Chaparral last time out, he will like the ground and with this slightly longer trip sure to suit he will be hard to beat. Night Sight rates the main danger he won well last time out when defeating Bucks and although he has a penalty for that win he still remains on a fair mark and will not be far away. Kylkenny is another worthy of respect he has dropped to a handy mark and he will appreciate the drying ground but he is more exposed than most and for that reason he is opposed. Bramantino won well at Beverley last time when defeating Can Can Flyer but he is not sure to be suited by the drop in trip and he will find it harder under his penalty. Of the remainder Middlethorpe is from a shrewd yard and usually runs well here so is worth noting in the market but for the winner we return to Dickie Deadeye.
