The Prince has obvious form claims here and is chosen to beat Heversham and Naughty Girl. The Ian Williams trained ten-year-old is not the force of old but still managed to win off a mark of 85 last September, unless one of the unexposed runners is decent, the selection looks to have an easy task. Heversham was successful on the all-weather in February, but his turf form leaves him with a fair bit to find with the selection. Naughty Girl is the interesting runner, she won off a mark of 74 last season, and although dropping down the handicap following some poor performances, she is entitled to go close if running up to her best. Of the others Soviet Spirit is open to improvement, but if the extra year hasn't taken it's toll, The Prince looks the one to be on.
