SHARP OPERATOR is a pretty consistent sort which cannot be said for the majority of his rivals in a modest finale. Put a line through his latest run at Brighton as he reared at the start and missed the break. He'd previously shown a nice turn of foot to score at the Sussex venue and is effective over this trip and on fast ground. Ertidaad is not easy to catch right but is worthy of short-list inclusion on the back of a good run at Chelmsford and Wild Acclaim, a winner here on his penultimate start, is another to consider. Lily Ash is still a maiden at five but lightly-raced for one of her age and not ruled out on form of some promise at this level.
