Only 2lb separates the five runners in this classified event but SURYA may well be better than his handicap mark suggests given he’s only raced in maiden company so far. He was runner-up at Goodwood last time and John Gosden has an impressive strike rate here. Zilara ran well at Lingfield on her handicap debut and is less exposed than the remainder including Odds On Oli, whose earlier double came over a mile. Artarmon drops back down in distance from 1m6f but Quantatmental has completed a recent double with wins at Beverley and Haydock last time and is respected.
