      Verdict

      Laubali, yet to shed maiden status, went closer than before when a Redcar runner-up over this trip earlier this month and is a leading player with the champion jockey booked on a track which he rides well. Terri Rules has landed two of her last four and looks an improver at this modest level while the 5lb claim of Gabriele Malune should bring Flora Tristan into contention. WIFF WAFF has to concede weight to all but his last two performances since returned to Turf appear to have suited the Poet's Voice gelding well and he has every chance if repeating the level of his latest effort when second at Leicester over today's trip and ground.
