LORD VETINARI showed admirable resilience to outbattle Quick Breath at Goodwood to land a first success on only his sixth career start. It's reasonable to expect another jolt of improvement from the son of Lethal Force and he faces similar conditions here. Brigand is another with only a handful of runs on the board and should be all the better for his reappearance run at Sandown. Gabrial The Devil represents the Koukash/Fahey combination which has such a potent record here and the gelding should be in the shake-up ,despite retaining maiden status.
