SCREAMING BRAVE is the selection in the final race this afternoon, Red Margarita and Crystal Feather also make the shortlist. The Mick Channon trained selection has been in good form so far this year without finding a win. His last outing was his best thus far and he has looked better with each race. The booking of Ted Durcan could prove to be significant and adds to the gelding's claims. Red Margarita is another who has shown significant improvement with racing and although the filly has yet to make the top three in her four starts to date, we expect that to be rectified today. Crystal Feather was the winner of a low grade event last time and ran creditably in a muddling event at Lingfield on her previous start and has shown plenty of determination. She will not mind the return to 1m2f and may be capable of more though a place amongst this tougher opposition looks more likely. Gay Kelleway's Why Nee Amy was a winner here 10 days ago. This step up in trip could prove troublesome and she may find the competition too hard to beat whilst the market may hold the clues to the remainder who offer very little on the bare form. This should prove to be a competitive end to proceedings and we will side with the in-form Screaming Brave.
