Verdict

MICHAELMAS DAISY gets the verdict with stiffest opposition expected to come from Jackie Danny and On The Piste. The selection has looked a decent sort in her two outings to date, showing plenty of early speed. She has so far failed to take her chances but she looks to be the type capable of improvement and this could be her day. Jackie Danny ran well last time, showing early pace and the benefit of her debut 11 days earlier, but was readily shaken off as the race got serious. She looks the progressive sort and should be there or thereabouts come the finish line. On The Piste is a fit-looking filly whose dam won over five furlongs as a juvenile. She has plenty of winners in her family and she didn't shape that badly on her debut last time. She looks a promising sort and should make the minors here. The market should provide valuable clues for this one, but for us Michaelmas Daisy looks the pick of the bunch.
