Leftontheshelf's victory came over this course a year ago and she is tipped to run well whilst Sweet Applause and Sonhador also look capable of at least making the money, but it's HINTON ADMIRAL who gets the nod. The Richard Fahey trained gelding hasn't been in the best form since returning to action early this month, but his two wins and some of his best races have come over distance. This will be his first start over 6 furlongs for almost a year and the step back in trip should see him ahead at the post. Leftontheshelf has done well here in the past but her most recent form has been rather poor. She made a return last time after 194 days away from the track and looked a bit headstrong but should have come on for the race and a place among the minors here is possible. Sweet Applause has been running with credit of late, but is thoroughly exposed, hard to predict and winless in 16 attempts. Sonhador ran a satisfactory race last time but is still a maiden after 12 starts, he may do better here but a place among the minors looks likely. Recent good form is in short supply here but it should still prove to be a competitive race where Hinton Admiral looks to be the best bet.
