Mick Is Back can benefit from a first-time visor to account for Hot Diamond, Smirfy's Silver and Magdalene, with Kings Art also not out of it. Mick Is Back has won three of his last five starts, including a Sandown claimer just over three weeks ago, after which he joined George Margarson who wastes no time in stepping him back up in trip. With the visor to sharpen him up, a big run is expected. Hot Diamond has the welter burden of 10st 2lb on his back, but won readily at Salisbury, so has to be a danger along with Smirfy's Silver who made a bold bid to lead from start to finish here last time. Magdalene has shown some ability, and her trainer generally does well here, while Kings Art overcame an early stumble to finish second at Folkestone, so is another to consider. An open affair can go to Mick Is Back.
