ARLO’S SUNSHINE won off a 2lb lower mark in May and while that remains his only win on the Turf, Robert Eddery’s gelding has generally operated to the levels his ability permits. He will attempt to reverse recent Brighton form with The Charmer and can do so at these revised weights. Available Angel won at this circuit last year and dropped a heavy hint when going close at Beverley on her most recent outing. Anglo Saxson prevailed in a maiden handicap off a mark of 70 a couple of seasons ago which arguably goes some way to explaining the support for him on his two most recent visits to this track. Lark Lane has surprisingly dropped in the handicap despite finishing close up at Leicester six days ago and won’t be far away at the finish.
