In depth

Verdict

Plenty can be given a chance but TAKATUL has the most scope. Charlie Hills’ colt beat a short-price favourite at Thirsk when making a winning debut and there should be plenty more to come. Twin Point and North Creek have both been in good form on the all-weather though the former is upped in class while Four Poets was beaten less than a length when fourth in a blanket finish at Chepstow recently. Coronation Day won a maiden race at Catterick easily enough and has been left on the same mark as she goes handicapping for the first time.
