Verdict

Four last-time winners clash, with the rest not ruled out although Mr Buttons is also engaged at Doncaster. Thegreatestshowman and True Hero do need to put underwhelming efforts behind them but are respected on previous runs this term. Major Blue scored easily at Pontefract in a three-horse affair which is hard to rate accurately. Tone The Barone, well backed when scoring here this month, should make a fist of handling his penalty and Enchanted Linda delivered in gutsy fashion on a first start for Michael Herrington after leaving the Hannon yard. However, TEXTING, a lightly-raced, progressive sort, can follow up after showing nifty quickening powers here latest.
