A tough race to call here for punters with very little between many of the leading lights but the principals look to be High Treason, King of Argos and Top Spec and the narrow vote is given to High Treason. The selection won well last time out when beating Boarder Edge and although rising in the weights he looks a progressive type and he is taken to win again under conditions that suit. King Of Argos rates the main danger as he won a maiden in good style last time out when beating Kerriemuir Lass but he looks to have plenty of weight for what he has actually achived and with this in mind he looks worth taking on. Top Spec is another that could go zas he also won well last time when beating Incidentally put he looks vulnerable under his penalty. Street Warrior is game and consistent and is sure to run his race but he is another that looks weighted up to his best. Of the remainder Midnight Traveller looks on a handy mark and could go well at a price but for the winner we are happy to return to the progressive High Treason.

King of Argos 9-4 (8-12) Mid-division and keen, good headway over 2f out, switched right and squeezed through 2f out, led 1f out, driven out, won at Chepstow 1m 2f mdn stk (5) gf in Jun beating Kerriemuir Lass (8-8) by 1 1/2l, 14 ran.
Top Spec (IRE) 13-2 (8-12) Held up, smooth headway to lead over 2f out, clear approaching final furlong, easily, won at Newmarket 1m 4f clm (4) gs beating Incidentally (9-2) by 6l, 7 ran.
