A desperate maiden in all senses of the description and only the most tentative of recommendations is given to Delta Shuttle ahead of Rue Soleil and Onatopp. The selection ran a fair race in a Newcastle maiden and while this is a drop in trip, this distance will take plenty of getting in the likely conditions. Rue Soleil has had many chances but Paul Hanagan is not in the habit of riding no-hopers here. A five length beating by Hinton Admiral at Hamilton reads well so it would be no surprise to see her go well. Onatopp showed her first ever racecourse form last time out and as a filly that is proven on the surface, she has to be given plenty of respect. Valery Borzov is bred to get further but is watched in the betting on racecourse introduction. Lovers Kiss is well drawn although appears not to have progressed. Star Above is on a third start for Sir Mark Prescott and rates as another to note. Mr Wall Street will wear cheekpieces for the first time. Delta Shuttle is the recommendation.
