In depth

Verdict

Desert Lightning gets the confident vote in the seller with Tiptoeing and Asaateel rating the main dangers. The selection was a fair second in similar grade behind Aqua last time out, that form looks rock solid and from a good draw he will be hard to beat. Tiptoeing rates the main danger on his best form but he disappointed for no apparent reason last time out. However the return to this faster surface should suit and he should be noted in the market. Asaateel is dropping in class and with his yard in form he will not be far away despite top weight. Of the remainder Earl Kraul looks the stables second string on jockey bookings and with this in mind for the winner we return to Desert Lightning.
