Some in-form performers in this handicap and narrow preference is for Hurricane Harriet ahead of Desperate Dan and Tyrannosaurus Rex. The selection comes here chasing the hat-trick after recent wins at the track. She drops in trip today but she has a good cruising speed and despite not looking entirely straightforward, she is taken to defy a 6lb rise in the weights. Desperate Dan has hit a rich vein of form of late also, taking in victories at Bath. He is well-treated on old form and it would be unwise to discount him here. Diane's Choice ran well behind Pretty Bonnie last time and remains on a good mark, whilst Twosheetsothewind and Russian Rocket need to improve on recent outings. Smiddy Hill and Tabor both know how to win at the track, however a more obvious danger is Tyrannosaurus Rex who may well progress after breaking his duck recently at Nottingham. A close race to call, but preference is for Hurricane Harriet.
