A competitive fillies' handicap where we will side with Selsey now dropped in trip; Siren Party and Rosy Alexander make it to the shortlist. The selection didn't seem to get home over nine furlongs at Sandown last time and it is no surprise to see her dropped to seven furlongs today. Her jockey is capable and with the softer ground unlikely to trouble this Selkirk filly, a big run should be on the cards. Star Acclaim and Siren Party make their handicap debuts today, of which the latter looks the more appealing as she won well last time. Rosy Alexander is a course and distance winner and wasn't disgraced on her recent reappearance at Sandown. She will have come on for that run and is another who may appreciate this shorter trip. Convallaria finally gained the first win of her career last time at Lingfield and whilst unlikely to follow up, her confidence may have been boosted and it would be unwise to rule her out completely. Savannah Poppy and Shindy are two more to consider in a tough race however for the winner we will return to Selsey.
