A very trappy looking handicap and we will just side with Our Ruby, Dr Synn and Encores are just two of many dangers. Peter Chapple-Hyam's three-year-old ran a strange sort of race last time out,. She didn't really seem interested in the early stages of that contest, but than ran with enthusiasm at the end. That was over the six furlong trip and so this extra furlong does look ideal and if she concentrates throughout she could go close. There have been valid excuses for the two most recent efforts from Dr Synn and he is better judged on his excellent second behind Outer Hebrides on similar ground at Salisbury. Meanwhile Encores looked on the way back to form at wolverhampton last time and is only four pounds higher than his last winning mark. Seneschal returned to winning form last time out and is another to consider for the places, but we are hopeful that Our Ruby can show her true forn today and she gets our verdict.
