A poor turnout for this contest and it looks easy pickings for the 94 rated Mut' Ab to break his maiden tag. Clive Brittain, a man never one to duck a challenge, has set the selection some very stiff tasks right from the outset of his career and he has not been disgraced in these events, although one suspects he may have been flattered to get so close to such decent sorts on occasions. Connections don't seem to have found his ideal trip as of yet as they stepped him up to a mile and then ten furlongs after his three initial runs. Blinkers are applied for the first time while this drop back to seven should not inconvenience him here and expect Ryan Moore to make this a good gallop. Tayyab's form is difficult to evaluate. He just has the one outing in his career, that being at Jebel Ali on the dirt. Robert Burns has not fulfilled the promise he showed in his initial runs and has not looked the most straightforward on occasions. The market should provide a good guide with regard to the chances of Pas De Roland and Classic Lass but Mut' Ab should win this.
