Kylkenny would be a popular winner but his recent efforts have been lacklustre and this isn't Southwell so he's passed over in favour of Kangrina. Whilst trainer George Baker is getting a reputation for landing a gamble, it would be wise to bear in mind that this horse has been backed on his last two outings without any joy. However Frederick Tylicki rode him last time and they weren't beaten far so with most of the field out of form he looks the logical choice. Noah Jameel has ability but recent runs have been poor, so a bigger danger could be Alfie Tupper who has been holding his form well this season without success. Expect improvement from Zalkani after a recent reappearance however it may take him another couple of runs before he reaches his peak, whilst Oasis Sun and Lordswood give John Best fairly strong-looking hand. Kings Topic is another to consider, however it is Kangrina who gets the nod.
