In depth

Verdict

Evelyn May has the form in the book and gets the vote here ahead of Kitty Allen. Barry Hills has not had the best of seasons with his juveniles but Evelyn May looks a cut above these. She has run twice to date, most recently when a close-up third at Newbury. Rebelwithoutacause may not have had ideal conditions as of yet but looks one for handicaps after this run, whilst Handcuff, Elsie Jo and Jubilee Juggins may all find their niche when also alloted marks. Dakota Hills needs a check in the betting for a stable doing well with their youngsters, but the main danger looks to be Kitty Allen. Trainer Marco Botti is having a good season and his One Cool Cat fily ran her best race to date last time. She has claims, but is likely to play second fiddle to Evelyn May who gets the confident selection.
