Look in the dictionary and the word modest will be defined as this race;a marginal preference is for Ask Nicely, ahead of Wouldn'itbenice and Lenouska. Willie Muir's filly is a front runner who may appreciate the step down in trip having struggled a little late on over 12 furlongs, but there's certainly some signs of a race in her. Wouldn'titbenice disappointed as a favourite last time out when trying to come from off the pace; Chris Catlin will be trying to roust her along and should be able to coax any improvement from her, while Lenouska, one of the more exposed here has improved with experience. Only one of them has a win in the locker, that's Landikhaya who won at Leicester last month in a similar kind of race, but has disappointed since. These are running at this level for a reason though, so there's not massive confidence behind the selection, which is Ask Nicely.
