A tough one rounds off the Yarmouth action and WHISKEY CREEK is forwarded with only tepid confidence to do the business for us. Who's Winning has been more like his old self of late and also merits a place on the shortlist. As do Just Spike and Night Premier, who have both shown enough to suggest they are still capable of winning at this level. Night Premier is still a maiden after 11 starts, so the chinks are already in the armour. Still he brushed aside the likes of Joyeaux when they met at Leicester a fortnight ago and he should at least be capable of upholding the form. Just Spike fared well under a penalty when he was last seen out and a similar effort would bring him into the argument. However, he needs to prove his fitness and others may have an edge on him. Who's Winning is well handicapped just now and dropped a significant hint with a near miss at Great Leighs last week. He can be hard to win with, though, and needs everything to go his way. Admittedly, similar comments apply to the selection, as he has yet to register a win from nine previous starts. However, Whiskey Creek fared very well against stiffer opposition last time out and will be a tough customer to deal with if he is in the same frame of mind today.
