ETOILE D'ALEXANDRE made a debut replete with promise when a close-up fourth at York, since when the winner that day has advertised the form with a convincing success at this venue when defying a penalty. The Carroll filly has since finished runner-up at Chester but is likely to be better suited to this more conventional track. Buick is a rare booking for the yard and she can go one better. Seven Questions has gone well on both starts to date and was only reeled in late on here last time and is a danger. Neither Stanley Spencer nor Red Zone Hero were beaten far on debut and add further spice to a decent maiden, with both expected to progress from their respective debuts. The market should reflect stable expectations for an interesting trio of newcomers.
