Verdict

Is That Love and RODERICK represent James McCauley, who does so well in these claimers. The former was beaten less than a length in a Dundalk claimer last week but the latter, top-rated in the race, has strong form on soft ground so today's conditions can see him back to winning ways. Might And Mercy didn't get the clearest of runs in last week's Dundalk claimer and his yard is in top form while the three-year-old Ard Mhacha was in good form on ground with plenty of give at this time last year. New Route is one of the few with scope and he hasn't run badly in a couple of recent maidens.
