Yuften is only a plater and has never raced over a trip this far. Swaffham Bulbeck has to go on the shortlist as he was a wide-margin hurdles winner last month before finishing second over 1m6f at Musselburgh. Aria Rose has been very consistent this year while Mrs Meader had excuses on her reappearance at Beverley but Sefton Warrior may need another run to put him straight. In good form over hurdles over the winter, LE MAGNIFIQUE wasn’t disgraced when fourth over 1m4f at Musselburgh last month and a further 2lb drop in the ratings is a bonus. Signal Twenty Nine also has a chance on a close third at Lingfield, though makes his debut on Turf.
