LADY PILOT had a pretty decent campaign during the winter both over the obstacles on the flat and she is taken to score here ahead of Lady Hestia and Sphere. The pick won a fair looking handicap hurdle during that campaign and returned to life in this sphere with a good run last time out finishing not too far behind a subsequent winner. She is two wins from four starts over this trip and considering she comes here racing off six pounds below her last winning mark on the level she should run a big race. Lady Hestia cosily landed a handicap in similar company at Bath last time out and her five pound mark rise seems fair. The form from the race has been franked nicely and although she has never raced over this far she won going away last time so she should stay. Sphere is still a maiden in eight starts but James Fanshawe¿s charge now looks to be racing off a good mark having been competitive under heavier burdens. Agente Romano has a chance of getting involved but looks a little high in the handicap to score still so we instead side with Lady Pilot.
