Godolphin saddle both newcomer Yaa Salam and Muntasir, who was well backed on his debut at Kempton but ran as though in need of the experience. He'll know more today and this extra furlong should also help but he is still taken on with HANDSOME RANSOM. John Gosden's Red Ransom colt is closely related to several decent performers in the UK and the fact that he has a Derby entry next year hints that he's held in some regard. Tafawuk is another interesting debutant but will need further in time, while Hartside was hampered on his introduction at Sandown and should prove better than that form suggests.
