Fairfield Flame is the pick with Fourth Dimension and Ultimate Quest put up as our alternatives. The selection has looked far from the easiest of rides but she stays this trip well enough, as was proved at Nottingham, and with Rab Havlin taking over from Marc Halford, the element of professional handling might just make the difference. Fourth Dimension won this race last year. Soft ground at Windsor served to sap his stamina in the closing stages but if he has recovered from that experience eight days ago, he has to be a player in spite of top weight. Ultimate Quest was heavily punted at Folkestone before flopping badly. There will be few better bred individuals on view at the track tonight and the market is watched in anticipation. Jafaru has a mixed bag of results to his name . The ground should suit if he consents to put it all in tonight. Blue Admiral was nicely backed last time out and it will be interesting to see if he has any support on handicap introduction. Cossack Prince had been struggling in handicaps over a mile before tried over 1m7f at Warwick. He gave the impression that he is worth another chance over a similar trip this evening. The well bred Hamsat Elqamar doesn't look to be a stable star. That said, connections will be keen to secure a victory in order to enhance paddock value. Benhego was easy to back on handicap debut and never gave the layers a moment's worry. Fairfield Flame has obvious negatives as well as positives but having demonstrated winning form over trip and going, she sets the standard tonight.
