Raccoon is our pick to see off Duke Of Milan and Bold Minstrel. The selection needs rattling fast ground as he has been tubed. He still maintains his enthusiasm for the game at his advanced years and can be confidently expected to bowl along at the head of affairs. Duke Of Milan was a beaten favourite at Lingfield on the polytrack. His near misses on turf have been fair and it would be no surprise to see him go well off this current handicap mark. Bold Minstrel looks attractively handicapped at present and showed well for a long way at Newbury. Taboor is an infrequent victor although he does act on this surface. Nusoor has begun to creep up the weights of late despite failing to get his head infront. Gleaming Spirit won here off a mark of 67 last term and is 5lb lower tonight. City For Conquest is out of the handicap and while he is not as good as he once appeared, his recent second at Brighton was his best effort for quite some time. Raccoon will be short odds and we seek not to oppose.
