Forces Sweetheart can complete a hat-trick, with Mugeba, Only If I Laugh, Peruvian Style and Moon Forest taken to give her most to do. Another big field of handicappers means that the chances of finishing on top at the end of three days of competitive racing at the seaside track is slim, but hopefully Forces Sweetheart will do us a favour. Michael Bell's filly had plunged to an all-time low handicap mark of 47 by the time that she lined up in a class 5 affair over the course-and-distance in August, and with the aid of a first-time visor, she made no mistake to score comfortably under Hayley Turner. She made most to follow up off a 7lb higher mark at Folkestone a week later when ridden by Luke Morris, but Hayley is back on board as the filly bids to secure a hat-trick. Mugeba is a course specialist, all four of his career successes having come at the seaside track, including over seven furlongs last time. He has to be on the short-list despite dropping back in trip, while Only If I Laugh scraped home on the all-weather last time, but also has winning form here in the past. Peruvian Style has been pretty consistent, and his stablemate Moon Forest lines up on the back of a recent win and with Ryan Moore in the plate. All have claims, but Forces Sweetheart is the pick.
