Declan Daly's Roca Redonda probably has the best form of the two to have raced previously but that does not say a great deal and this is likely to go to one of the newcomers with the vote going to Kaseema ahead of Extravagance and Red Blooded Woman. The selection is a well related son of Storm Cat from the yard of Sir Michael Stoute that won this event 12 months ago. His pedigree suggests that the prevailing fast ground should suit and Kaseema looks a likely type first time out. Ed Dunlop's juveniles normally need the run on their first start in public so the likelihood is that Red Blooded Woman will come on for the run, while Michael Bell's Kondakova is bred to do better over middle distances next term. Luca Cumani's Extravagance cannot be completely ruled out but the yard's youngsters rarely win first time out and a safer bet looks to be Kaseema, who gets the vote.
