The third race on the card is a very average six furlong handicap but the vote goes to the improving SIR LOUIS who can hopefully see off Knightfire and Stef And Stelio. The selection is not a confident pick as he will be encountering vastly different conditions today but if handling the quicker surface he'll go close for the all conquering Richard Fahey yard. His biggest threat should be Knightfire who bolted up on his last start at Wolverhampton. He cost quite a bit of money but hasn't lived up to his reputation thus far. Now that he has found the winning thread he may be able to take this, if handling the swop from the artificial surface. Frankie Dettori is an interesting jockey booking for the Gerard Butler yard. He rides the quirky Stef And Stelio who came down the handicap late last year. He now looks on a very winnable mark and should be noted in the betting. Others who have each-way chances are Young Simon and Danzoe. The latter named must be monitored as his trainer is a top five trainer on the track and an each-way bet is advised if the money comes. In a tough contest the vote just about goes to Sir Louis.
