It's tempting to go with Dark Side Prince on the best of his form but all seven successes have come on the all-weather and he remains winless on turf. LEVEL UP has hit form on recent starts, goes well for this apprentice and remains handily treated. He looked to win a slightly better contest last time and is taken to follow up. Han Solo Berger is getting into the veteran stage but holds form well and has usually gone well here with course and distance victories to boast of. He should be competitive again under Jack Mitchell. Alpine Girl ought to be open to more progression on the grass but Regal Envoy and Man On A Mission make greater appeal and are preferred in that order as the latter's creditable consistency has been achieved almost exclusively on artificial surfaces.
