      Verdict

      OKEANOS could be considered frustrating after compiling a trio of runner-up efforts but there's nothing wrong with his attitude and regarding him as admirably consistent seems a wiser route to take. He tackles his optimum trip, has transferred his all-weather form to the grass quite effortlessly and rates a leading contender off a 2lb higher mark. Anglo Saxson is impossible to omit from calculations as he's had his last eight runs at this seaside venue, notching three victories. Maybe a little off-key last time off a career-high mark, he still commands considerable respect. Dion Baker has claims despite topweight and Cariad is interesting, especially if backing up her best effort to date on turf last time when a Nottingham runner-up. The drop back to 7f is also an interesting move.
