Strabinios King might not be as obviously well handicapped as other Michael Wigham-trained runners to string together a sequence, but he is probably good enough to make it three from four here, while Obe Royal and Falmassim are others considered. The selection was a winner over this trip at Wolverhampton in March and had excuses when beaten next time. Stepped up to 7f at Lingfield he wore down The City Kid last time, but this drop back should be fine. He acts on good to firm on turf and may be able to find enough to beat this lot. Falmassim has been going well enough in defeat of late and should be in the mix under Paul Hanagan. Rough Rock went close in a similarly minor Brighton contest last time and from the same mark and with Seb Sanders up he has to be taken seriously. Obe Royal is a consistent performer but just a shade too high in the weights to carry the money of this judge and Djalalabad is interesting now visored for a yard that does well here. Even so, Strabinios King knows how to win and can show us again this time.
