        Verdict

Dasher Reilly arguably sets the standard but he has regressed and is worth taking on with either Optic or Doonigan; we'll plump for the former. The selection has something to prove on ground as quick as this but it's unlikely that connections would risk their charge if they didn't believe she'd handle it. She was fairly well held on her first two starts but posted a far more encouraging run on her debut over hurdles and wouldn't need to find a great deal of improvement on that performance to play a leading role here. Dasher Reilly may return to form now that a visor has been fitted but he was tailed off when departing on his return from a break last time and has looked less than willing in the past. Doonigan was beaten a long way on his sole start over hurdles but his stable is in really good form at present and Johnson is a positive booking for the yard. Support for him, or indeed any of the others, would be of interest but we'll look no further than Optic.
