      Verdict

The William Haggas-trained Mulazem looks the pick of the newcomers being a son of El Prado owned by Hamdan Al Maktoum but it is hard to get away from ITHBAAT, who made an encouraging reappearance here last month and a reproduction of that effort may well suffice so he gets the vote ahead of Mac Wolf. Mick Quinlan's colt has been well beaten in his two starts so far but they have been in better races than this so he has to be considered. Michael Wigham introduces a daughter of Dansili in Black Stocking, who would not need to be out of the ordinary to take a hand here. Jeremy Noseda's Prince Of Johanne never recovered from a slow start on her Lingfield debut but she should have learned from that and makes more appeal than Luca Cumani's newcomer the Intikhab colt Luc Jordan, who is likely to do better over further. This is a poor contest in which John Gosden's Ithbaat, who ran promisingly on his only start as a juvenile and again on his reappearance over course and distance last month is taken to open his account.
