The Snatcher gets the vote in the opener with Upper Hand, Hasty Passion and Stephanies Dream put forward as the main dangers. The selection made a really pleasing debut when a good second behind Scarlet King at Bath. He will appreciate this extra furlong and as he overcame a bad draw to get within a head of the winner last time he looks to have a leading chance. Any further rain would enhance his prospects as he is by a soft-ground sire and that debut effort did come on heavy going. Upper Hand hails from a yard that has already had winners in this sphere this season. However, his breeding suggests that he will be better over further in time and he may be best watched on his racecourse bow. Hasty Passion was a little disappointing behind Penny Whisper last time at Pontefract, and as the winner has since gone on to let the form down, this filly is likely to find at least one too good today. Stephanies Dream unseated her rider on the way to the start which didn't help her chance at Nottingham last time, so she do better here, but for the winner we return to The Snatcher.
