Several of these have claims including handicap debutants Proud Scholar and Fashion House but preference is for Toque, who is taken to make the most of what looks to be a favourable mark. The selection has improved with each run this term, latterly when chasing home Mossman Gorge in a similar contest at Chepstow. Hugh Morrison's filly is set to go up 5lbs in future handicaps following that effort and is taken to make the most of her current rating. Gerard Butler's Caragh Mia probably has more to do than when just landing a Windsor maiden last time and of more interest may be Proud Scholar. Amanda Perrett's filly has had the three runs necessary for a handicap mark and has to be respected with the stable in such good form. Fashion House does not look to be one of Godolphin's better horses but is entitled to plenty of respect judged by the pick of her two-year-old form. John Dunlop's Ladeena has an eye-catching pedigree and should be better than she has shown so far, while Magic Flo showed improved form at Newmarket last time and has to be considered. Toque has an obvious chance at the weights though and she gets the vote.
